CAROCH

January 16th, 2009 by buhayconfused

CAROCH. Sabi ni nanay, masustansya raw ang caroch. Rich in Vitamin A raw. Peste, kahit rich in Vitamin XYZ pa yan, walang pilitan. My menu is not your menu.

But I realized na hindi ko nap ala gusting maging DJ. Nag shift ako sa kagustuhang maging CAMERAMAN. Sige, VIDEOGRAPHER para mas cool pakinggan. Alam kong imposible nang mangyari yun. Wala kasi akong 20/20 vision. Hahaha. Parang x-ray.

My Amazing Mall Experience

April 25th, 2007 by buhayconfused

It was Saturday and i had my stomach not in  a good condition…

When we arrived at Megamall A, lots of teams were already there.  You could easily figure out some of the teams coz most of them were wearing same colored shirt as their partners… in our case, i and jen had the same color of shirt, pero we didnt talk about it talga.. it was co-incidence…

After registration and briefing and interviews we were given the first five clues… we must identify where in the ENTIRE MALL could the following pictures be found..

I knew that the fist picture is found in Time zone so we went there immediately. Four to go!!!

Walking around the lower ground of the mall we saw lots of teams in the bowling area… that gave us the idea that picture number 4 was a bowling ball!!!  Buti na lang!!

We had a hard time for the remaining 3 photos.. I and Jen started to debate on where to find picture number 2… we knew the car was in the praking lot… but, where in parking lot???!!! I mean SM MegaMall parking lot is soooo huge.. I also knew right then that the "4A" in the picture had something to do with the picture.. only to found out that 4A meant megamall A 4th floor… aha! and take note, we were actually arguing in that area.. we immediately went to the parking lot and poof — we found the car.. thank God!!

(to be continued…)

What Now Then Britney?

Not even Simon Fuller could rescue Britney Spears career at this stage could he. Even Lazarus would have a better shot.

How can you be an agent for that?

Best thing I can come up with off the top of my head is to try some reworking of ‘The King and I’, where she can take on the Yul Brinner role.

Oh but wait….that’s a singing part

Britney Spears.. BALD!!!

February 19th, 2007 by buhayconfused

she’s so lucky.. she’s a star… but there’s sumthin missing in her life…

story.britney.front.kabc.jpgSpears Was in Rehab

this girl is so confused -she obviously craves attention but not the kind her fame garners. she needs a true friend and confident and must feel as anna nicole did- that she is alone and cannot truly trust anyone- lest they are after something- britney should try to get a doctor to check her for imbalances in her hormones or something , if you or i knew someone who behaved as she has lately we would assume they needed help or were mentally ill - britney needs a good doctor and better yet - a friend and someone she can trust -so sad as she is so young . and as she demonstrates her personal behavior does it ever occur to her that later in life her children will have to deal with her history as part of their lives- even sadder. britney look at the bigger picture and get back to making music and being a good mother and person. again so sad - like watching a drowning person and not being able to help…
she has the fame.car.luxury.talent. but i guess God is not the center of her life that’s why she’s not happy….
she is rich, beautiful and has the world at her fingertips… but that’s not the secret of peaceful and contented life…
we can’t do sumthin about it.. that’s her PREROGATIVE!!!

MY Top 10 Worst Movies Of All TIme

February 11th, 2007 by buhayconfused

TOP 1: Exorcist the beginning

Go to fullsize image

the most unscary horror film for me..

TOP 2: Texas Chainsaw Massacre I

Go to fullsize image

i just don’t like it!

TOP 3: Glitter

Go to fullsize image

"Only Mariah Carey could mess up a film about Mariah Carey"

TOP 4: Gigli

Go to fullsize image

This film only grossed $6 million, making it one of the biggest box office bombs of all time. Many especially avoided it because they thought that it was just a vehicle for the Lopez-Affleck relationship.

TOP 5: Epic Movie

Go to fullsize image

In the past 10 years, I’ve probably seen more than 200 movies at theaters. This is the first movie that I’ve ever walked out on. 45 minutes in, I couldn’t handle the torture anymore. This is the most unfunny piece of garbage I’ve ever seen. Although, I did get a good chuckle when about 50% of the audience had left before the halfway mark. Just avoid this.

TOP 6: War Of The Worlds

Go to fullsize image

No, it’s not an independent or world film by any stretch of the imagination. But we can still feel the industrial-strength headaches this utterly superfluous blockbuster gave us, so it deserves getting dissed one last time. (Spielberg, by the way, more than regained our respect with the powerful drama "Munich.")

TOP 7: SuperBabies: Baby Geniuses 2

Go to fullsize image

Words cannot truly describe how down and out awful this movie was!

TOP 8: Son of The Mask

Go to fullsize image

There are innumerable things wrong with “Son of the Mask,” an unrelievedly manic, gruesomely unfunny follow-up to Jim Carrey’s unexpected 1994 smash. But certainly the worst is how it trashes the great Looney Tunes shorts we all know and love. That’s surely not the intention; presumably it was meant as a homage, not an insult to their memory

TOP 9: The Village

Go to fullsize image

I couldnt watch this movie all the way through, it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO boring it put me to sleep. the talking parts just slow the movie down and there boring.

TOP 10: Catwoman

"arguably the worst superhero film ever made"
.. me-OUCH!…

MY Top 20 Most Memorable Moments of 2006

February 11th, 2007 by buhayconfused

TOP 20

I was assigned as one of the scriptwriters in our major production in Drama and Theatre Arts subject. SELIR was the title of the play. Being a scriptwriter is not a joke… Masaya pero madugo.. I was also assigned in the spotlight control during the play. Ang hirap pala. Nakakangalay sa kili-kili.

My whole family went to Lemery, Batangas to celebrate my pamangkin’s bday. Nagswimming kami. I forgot the name of the resort. I had a great time kasi natuto ako lumangoy ng konti.

Wala na yung pera.. even the receipts. I was crying the whole time..Ikaw ba naman ang mawalan ng pera na hindi naman sa’yo diba?!

TOP 17

Go to fullsize image

It was my first time to ICE SKATE!!! Nilibre ako ni pareng Ronald, bf ni Nica. Nakakaenjoy naman. Natuto agad akoin the span of less than an hour inside the rink.. The next day, I had colds and fever…

TOP 16

Our choir sang in E412 Awards. E412 Awards is an annual church-based award giving body of Victory Christian Fellowship given to the leaders who made an impact in church and society… fulfilling God’s command to us, “go and make disciples”. Nakakaencourage. But of course, lets not be excellent to God for the sake of the award… always think that we do it for God, not for the recognition and trophy…

TOP 15

At first, I didn’t believe that I won, but when I already withdrew my prize.. aba! Totoo pala! But of course let us be careful in joining contests over the internet… Tip ko lang, be observant before we give private information such as addresses, phone numbers and bank accounts para hindi tayo maging victim sa mga modus operandi ng mga sindikato.

It was February 25, 2006. Sa kabila ng gulo sa EDSA dahil sa Anniversary ng EDSA Revolution, I together with my classmate and COSE (Coalition of the Services for the Elderly) had a campaign in Brgy. UP Campus regarding awareness and enhancing the community of elderlies. We had medical mission for elderlies with diabetes. I volunteered to get their blood pressure. That afternoon, we had Bingo Bonanza. I was the announcer of numbers. Hehehe.. kinahapunan, we had lectures and party.. Doing that outreach made me realize that we need to appreciate the value of the elderlies. Hindi sila pabigat. Hindi sila KJ. Intindihin lang natin sila…

TOP 13

My classmate, Jennylyn De Guzman joined Pinoy Pop Superstar, a singing contest in GMA 7 hosted by Regine Velasquez. It was not my first time inside the GMA compound coz I used to be an aspiring DJ at Campus Radio WLSFM before. Rehearseal pa lang I knew Jenny will win—and she did! She defended her throne for a week… then, she was called by the show for a callback. Unfortunately she lost.

TOP 12

I joined the Kid’s Ministry. Hehehe. Dito ako nagkaroon ng break as an actor… (naks!). I met a lot of good people there… at paminsan-minsan saling pusa ako sa mga gimiks nila.. hehehehe. I found some of the best people there… sina Cendy, Vivi, Kathy, Alfred, Badet, Aileen and many more!!! Blessing ito ni God sa akin… I love kids! And I wanna stay there for the rest of my life!!!

TOP 11

I played the role of “Dash” of the film, “The Incredibles”. Kulay Yellow tung buhok ko. We had the motorcade on the entire campus to celebrate our college’s 5th Foundation Day. We got the 3rd place award….

TOP 10

I played the role of the “Phantom” of Phantom of the Opera film. That was our contest piece in Music Category during our Humanities Festival of our College. Final requirement siya sa subject naming Humanities. Ms. Chloe Cansanay played the role of my partner, Christie and we sang the theme song of that film. We won 1st place in that category and also achived the Best Humanities Class for 2006

TOP 9

I and the rest of Team 3 Kid’s Church went to “Child House”. It’s a house in PCSO Manila where the family of sick children get to stay in that house for the mean time habang under medical treatment pa ang kanilang patient. We had an outreach there. We made a simple skit and I (once again) portrayed Riddler, Kuya Alfred as Batman, and Vivi as Catwoman. Tapos we gave them toys, bibles, goodies and foods.

TOP 8

I cried a lot of tears when my highschool friend, Denmark Castillo died from motorcycle accident early January. He had an internal hemorrhage. Dead on arrival. He was cremated in Heritage Park in Taguig… it was my first time inside a cremation room.

TOP 7

I spent my whole December 29 with VCF-Fort Choir in Tagaytay. We went to Mailin’s house where they toured us in their farm. Grabe it was super relaxing! Marami silang tanim na pinya, saging, kamote at kalamansi. We also went to tita Liza’s place where we had our dinner and small forum… Finally, we went to Platito in the cliff house and sip some hot coffee and chocolates… not forget to mention the yummy cakes!!… I’ve been to Tagaytay before, pero ngayon ko lang na-discover and totoong ganda ng Tagaytay…

TOP 6

I got to know Achi Kathy better. I appreciated her kindness. It was Christamas Eve… she was there when I needed someone to cry on. Even though we only talked on text and only lasted for about half an hour, still its my number five most memorable moments of 2006… Thanks Achi Kathy!!!

My Top 20 Most Memorable Moments of 2006

February 3rd, 2007 by buhayconfused

TOP 5

I slept in Kuya Alfred’s house. The next day kasi we needed to go to church as early as 3am for Smabang Gabi. So there.. para akong nag shopping spree sa dami ng mga pinamigay niyang clothes. I felt like im home!. Staying in his house that night made me know kuya Alfred better. Mad lalo akong nabilib sa abilidad at diskarte niya sa buhay…

TOP 4

A surprise party was held in Aileen’s place. Yun pala it was meant for me and the rest of December birthday celebrants.. It was my first time to see my name on a cake!!! My first KC Christmas is something that I will always remember for the rest of my life…

TOP 3

I and the rest of VCF-Fort Choir sang in front of hundreds of people in VCF Convergence last April 9, 2006. It was my first time to become part of that grandeur event. It was my pleasure singing for God. I just had a great time jumping, clapping, shouting, and raising my hands.

TOP 2

It was December 26. My friends at Kid’s Church consecutively texted me birthday greetings. The leader behind that that “text attack” is still a mystery

TOP 1

2006 was the year of my spiritual growth.  I’ve been a Christian for 4 years now pero this 2006 lang ako naging serious sa Christian walk ko… of course i thank God kasi He gave me a second chance and now He allowed me to use my talent and skills to serve in the ministry..
